I personally find men difficult to make cards for. Cards you buy in the shops seem to presume men like golf, cars or football. Whilst the card I’ve made does follow such a generalisation, at least it is homemade!
I thought I’d move away from cross stitch for a change. The card was really easy to make – hopefully it is simple, but effective. My guillotine ensured all the cuts were actually straight lines. All the paper is stuck down with my good friend double sided sellotape. I used ric rac as the sea and that got stuck down with another crafting essential – pva glue!
This time I decided to put a handmade with heart piece of ribbon on the back.
It’s not a traditional Father’s Day Card, but will do the job!
